Working on my Allietare quilt, Bonnie Hunter's last mystery. Chose colors to go with my living room rug.  Laying out the blocks, Kinzie decided she needed to check it out.  

Row by Row

In August while camping in Door County, Wisconsin, I completed my 2015 Row by Row quilt.  Every stitch done at the campsite, while enjoying the outdoors.  What fun to do.  Looking forward to next year's theme, Home Sweet Home.  Hopefully I can incorporate camping into the quilt.

 

Finally!

Finally able to get back to my blog.  Didn't realize what I had used for email and login.  After searching and asking questions everywhere, I was able to figure out what to do.  Plan to update my blog in the next week with posts from the past year.  Nothing like waiting so long.  Hopefully this next year I will post on a more regular basis.

Minnesota Quilt show in June

This year Haley and I both entered quilts into the Minnesota Quilt Show.  They have a Children's division that Haley entered her quilt in.  She has worked on it for several years at the retreat we go to.  We had a great time seeing all the quilts in St. Cloud.

Money Creek and Barn Quilts

Every year Jim and I try to get to the local BMW motorcycle rally at Money Creek campground near Houston, Minnesota in June.  We now take our popup camper, and have a great time.  

What I loved was seeing all the barn quilts during our ride on Saturday.

May 2014

I have been delinquent in posting on my blog.  Decided to look through photographs from the past six months and post them in blocks by month.  So here is May 2014.

Orchestra

Lucas and Haley are playing string instruments in the school program.  Haley plays viola, Lucas violin.  Both are doing a wonderful job, and plan to continue again next year.  Here are a few pictures from this Spring's concerts, including the small ensemble that Haley was in.

Wonderful spring skiing at Targhee this year.  A little of everything.  

Snow, fog and bluebird skiing.  Definitely a wonderful trip.

Haley is part of the Blizzard Racing program this year.  She is excited to compete.  Can you see her smile?  Next year, more races?  Hope so. 

Snow is the "norm" here in Minnesota!

Feeling for all my friends down south dealing with the winter wonderland that we are accustomed to.  Can't imagine what it is like for those unfamiliar with snow and ice.  As for those of us in the frozen north, we are having a heat wave!  Temps predicted in the 30's over the next week.  I can finally open my blinds and get some Vitamin D again.
