Quilters around the world that love mystery quilts, are busy completing their first step to Bonnie Hunter's Celtic Solstice. This time around, I am using our stained glass window as inspiration. Pulled batiks from my stash, and chose a dark background instead of lights. I plan to complete the king size quilt, so that means LOADS of blocks. It has begun!

great fabrics for your gorgeous stained glass window!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful batiks, Kim!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tracy and Gena! I have so many batiks, that I knew I needed to do this with them. And AFTER I picked out the fabrics, I realized it went perfectly with the stained glass window. At least I am consistent in what I like.
ReplyDeleteClue one looks great in batiks!
ReplyDeleteLove the batiks. What a great idea. The black is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteCyn, the black is actually a dark brown/burgandy batik.
ReplyDeleteStep one looks great!
ReplyDeleteGreat fabric choices... it will be a spectacular quilt!
