Celeste is just too curious, don't you think? Finally got her off of the quilt. Progress was made tonight. For those interested my colors, here are the changes that I made.
For Bonnie's green, I used navy. Her aqua is my red. The purple became my yellow. And the grey became my brown. Thank you for all the wonderful comments. Please check in again in a week or two. Hopefully I will have the top finished by then.

I love your colors. Your quilt looks like either a male or a female would love it. I followed Bonnie's colors for mine with the exception of yellow/orange in place of her gray, and my quilt looks very tropical. I would rather have used your colors when we started but I try to do what Bonnie recommends. Your quilt is going to be fabulous! Debbie in WV
ReplyDeleteI really like you quilt so far. The colors are intense and balance each other well. I especially enjoy seeing projects that are made with different colors. It's fun to see how they change the feel of the quilt and express the personality of the quilter.
ReplyDeleteThat looks terrific. I have been following the original color scheme - not sure it is really "me" but I will finish it and see how it ends up.

Your colours are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color and fabric choices!
ReplyDeleteWow, I just love your colors. That quilt top sings.
ReplyDeleteYou did a better job of color choice than I did. Mine will be attractive but won't 'sing'.
Really like your colors a lot Kim. Celeste must have been distracted by something or she would have been in the middle of that quilt!
ReplyDeleteCeleste is just upset, as her "playmate" Trixie, has moved out. She is constantly looking for her. I have gotten a few more blocks added to the quilt, but working fulltime has put a damper on my quilting.
ReplyDeleteGreat colors, Kim!

You Easy Street is looking amazing! Love that patriotic theme!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful choices - glad I stopped by to see!
ReplyDeleteKim I have not loved many of the Easy Streets but I can say that I love yours! Can't wait to see the finished product.
ReplyDeleteI still have the border to put on my Easy Street top. I had promised myself that I would not start Celtic Solstice until that was done, but here I am cutting out the first step blocks!
